The 30 Day Snap - Day 2: French Manicure with a twist

The 30 Day Snap - Day 2: French Manicure with a twist

Today I've been doing close to nothing. I know, yay for me and my oh-so-incredible life! But I've painted my nails and I should say that I'm so in love with it!

I went for a french manicure with a twist. I added these nail beads by Primark. I found these at Primark and they were a lot cheapier than the original Caviar Nail Beads, but just as good as the original ones! The beads were €3, an amazing deal!

Hope you liked it!

The 30 Day Snap

Because SprinkleOfGlitter is one of my idols when it comes to blogging. Louise seems so joyfull and gullible. She started the 'The 30 Day Snap' and immediatly wanted to join in. I know, June is almost over but I already wanted to started with July, so guess this is my first day of the 30 Day Snap!

Summer holiday  has started today so I felt like sitting back and enjoy a couple of magazines to keep up with the latest fashion statements. I've never wanted a holiday so badly!

Everyday Makeup Routine

My everyday makeup routine

For my first blogpost I thought I'd share the products I use on a daily base for my makeup during the summer. Weather in Belgium isn't great at all. It has been raining most of the time with bits of sun. For my makeup I'm caught myself reaching for pinky-toned makeup to brighten up the day.

For my foundation I use a MAC mineralize foundation. I'd say the coverage is medium, buildable up to a high coverage. This foundation is amazing! From time to time I have dry patches, but I find that this foundation doesn't cling to it. The foundation has lasted me ages and I still haven't hit pan, great!

As a blusher I'm using the MAC blush in Melba. I'm absolutely in love with this blush! It is a matte pinky blush with a peachy undertone. This hasn't got any shimmer to it, so it's so subtle. It's a powder blush and super blendable.

As for eyeshadow I'm not to keen on spending a lot of time on it during the summer. I go for a wash of shadow across the whole lid. I think Woodwinked by MAC is perfect for this. I notice that when I'm blending the shadow into my crease the color gets a bit darker (might just be me and my imagination...).  I've put the shadow in a single container wich makes travelling a lot easier!

To define my lashline I use a Chanel longlasting eyepencil in Ebène. On days when I'm feeling like it, I go for a slightly winged-out look. Nothing too fancy.

On my lips I like to have a pop of color, but nothing too bold. I use this lipstick by Maybelline. It's very sheen and has a glossy finish.

To apply my makeup I LOVE using the Real Techniques brushes. They're amazing, especially for blending eyeshadows. The brush most on the left, the deluxe crease brush, I use to apply my foundation because I only use the tiniest amount on my cheeks.
The starter set comes with : a deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, brow brush, accent brush and a pixel-point eyeliner brush.
